HISTORY

Bonnie Burrito embarked on its flavourful journey on 10th March 2015, initially operating as a mobile food van. From day one, the venture was met with an enthusiastic reception, quickly garnering a dedicated following among food enthusiasts. Our unique concept of blending traditional Mexican flare with a distinctive Scottish twist captured the imagination and taste buds of our customers. The popularity of our innovative dishes, like the Irn-Bru pulled pork and haggis-infused burritos, propelled our mobile venture into a local sensation.

Riding on this wave of success and propelled by the growing demand for our unique culinary offerings, Bonnie Burrito took a significant leap. On 2nd August 2016, we transitioned from our beloved mobile van to a permanent culinary haven at 82 South Clerk Street, Edinburgh. This move marked a new chapter in our story, allowing us to expand our menu, enhance our customer experience, and become a staple in the local food scene.

The opening of our first brick-and-mortar location was not just a business expansion but a realisation of a dream to create a cozy, welcoming space where food lovers could gather and enjoy the best of Mexican-Scottish fusion cuisine. The journey from a mobile food van to a cherished establishment in Edinburgh reflects our commitment to quality, innovation, and the community spirit that Bonnie Burrito is all about.
